I was here recently for a rehearsal dinner and the food was great. You could tell it was homemade. The fried chicken was especially delicious. Service was great as well. The buffet was constantly being refilled and changed out as well. Would recommend for some homestyle country cuisine.
The Holiday was our home away from home. We were staying there because we were attending a wedding. The full length mirrors and iron were fantastic. The rooms were clean and the restaurant' food was outstanding. They served the biggest pancakes I've ever seen. Staff was very pleasant and friendly.
We frequent the area to fish. We always stay at The Holiday. It’s not a super modern room. We don’t mind that. The beds/pillows are comfy, clean room, and super friendly staff. We also enjoy the restaurant. Great soup/salad bar. We’ve enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner with plenty variety. We’ll be back, as always!
The overall hotel was good, I stayed there with a softball team and had a blast. The only thing I think they need is to remodels the rooms to more of a modern style but it's still perfectly fine. I would also like to say they need new outlets. But other than that all was good! The food was delicious and didn't take forever to get to us and the room service was good! I would recommend this hotel!
It is an older property but don't let that fool you!! This is a hidden gem. The rooms are clean, the whole property is amazingly clean. The managers are so nice and friendly. They take care of anything you need right away. The restaurants food is so good and the bar in the hotel is spot on. Prices for stay are the best! If you are passing through Olney this is the place to stay.
You get what you pay for. And this place is cheap! Room was clean, bed was comfy and no bugs, thats the most important thing with a place at this price.. great for a place to lay your head and thats about it.
We had car trouble coming from Fla stayed over night while the car was fixed. Hotel was wonderful, very clean, more than accomodating , allowed us to keep the room till afternoon when the car was ready. The resturant was very good for breakfast, Abigail was very nice and great service. Would stay there again. Thank you holidaymotel and resturant.
When I first got there I was put Ina room that hadn't been cleaned yet, but I was off a 10 hr drive so I didn't care. That morning they woke me up , apologizing, and did a complete clean on my room while I went to the restaurant and had a very filling, excellent breakfast which I was comped. The room was great , the waitress, the front desk, the housekeepers, everyone was terrific.
